Just a reminder to everyone, there is NO sharelife group this Friday, because Pastor Chester and the elders think we need a break every first friday of the month. I hope you guys spend your Friday off wisely and are looking forward to VBS next week!

Hey guys, it's my job to make posts and make the site more lively. For each week I will be posting a verse. The verse this week is in I John (I forgot the reference). This is the verse

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Fahter but is of the world. And the world is passing away, the lust of it, but he who abides in God will last forever."

Doesn't this verse sound familiar to any of the youth? It reminds me of what Uncle Julius taught us how we should not try to hang on to the things of this world but wait for the treasures of heaven.
